WorkMate is a device created to support the Buffer machine in the process of the badly scratched discs regeneration. As Buffer implements OptoClear technology, which isn’t efficient enough in case of the deep and extreme scratches’ repair, the WorkMate with the implementation of the multi-step abrasion technology, preliminary repairs the carrier, and then Buffer gives the final effect of a new disc. That is an excellent supplement of the Buffer’s usability for the purely commercial purposes.

Although the WorkMate implements the multi-step regeneration process, it actually doesn’t require any service. Numerous passing of the specific regeneration phases dooesn’t occur here. The only thing you have to do is choosing on the main control panel a type of cycle, which depends on the depth of scratches- cleaning, normal, and deep mode- then you have to wait specific time, which is 1 minute for all of the modes. Depending on the type of scratches,  the WorkMate automatically matches appropriate sort of regenerative material. Small dimensions and metal housing make the unit look solid and well rounded.

The WorkMate uses only blue or gray plates in the regeneration process, depending on the depth of scratches. You can buy a repair sanding kit in Maintenance Materials section.

After the tests in Disc Clinic:

It is an excellent technical solution in order to automate the process of the disc`s repair. Such solutions had been implemented before in Italian ROBO series machines that aren’t manufactured anymore. The WorkMate is significantly less expensive, though. During one minute of the repair cycle, the unit regenerates carriers properly. The components are of top quality. A metal housing, a legible display screen present and operate perfectly. The only disadvantage is the fact, that it isn’t a stand-alone unit but the supplement of the more expensive Buffer machine. If it also had the function of finishing of the regeneration process to perfect the final look of a disc, the WorkMate could achieve a significant market success.
