This is a flagship model of the disc regeneration machines that we have in our offer. It is the most commonly sold machine on the Polish and European market. The Disc Buddy has gained such popularity due to its reasonable price and the very effective regeneration process. This is the cheapest professional machine. The Disc Buddy operates on the basis of the one-step repair technology. After the discs are put to a repair chamber, we set required time of the repair varying from 1 to 5 minutes (depending on the depth of scratches). After the cycle is completed, you only need to wipe off residuals of repairing fluid with a cloth (we recommend Disc Clinic Cloth) and the disc is ready to use. A significant advantage of the machine is a low purchase price and low cost of a disc’s repair- about 70 Polish cents. Solid manufacture and implementation of the top quality components guarantee the long lasting and the trouble-free use. The manufacturer declares 97% of efficiency in bringing back usability of the compact discs. In terms of the repair technology, the Disc Buddy is definitely the closest to the giants of the regeneration field, such as the Dual Disc, and it’s a better purchase because its cost is significantly lower. Only in terms of aesthetics and solidity is a little bit worse. However, it works the way we expect it- it efficiently removes inconvenient scratches on the discs.

The machine is dedicated to places, where there is the large turnover of the discs, such as video shops and stations of games exchange. The Disc Buddy can be also used for the commercial purposes. A visual effect of the repaired discs is very good.

Maintenance materials include: French polish in various versions: Standard that accompanies the Disc Buddy from the very beginning, Extra Fast with the better regeneration qualities, Blu Ray ready – dedicated to the standard carriers: CD and DVD and to Blu Ray, Visko – of twice capacity than Standard French Polish and polishing caps that are constructed in such way that they match every optic carrier (every disc format has different thickness because of the structure), it gently grinds a protective layer of the disc and assists the filling with the French polish. After the tests in Disc Clinic:

After the tests, we must admit that the efficiency is really very high. The machine manages to remove even extremely deep scratches (created by drastic cut of test disc with a knife). However, it requires the repeating of the 5-minute cycle for several times and this is time consuming and increases the cost of the repair up to PLN1.5. Fortunately, so severely scratched discs are only a margin. A visual effect of a disc repaired with the standard caps might be better. The disc works without any problems, but traces of the repair are visible against the light. A totally smooth and shining disc will be obtained after the use of the optional finish polishing caps. After we use them, a final effect will satisfy even the most demanding users. In using case, the biggest problem is change of the optional finish polishing caps (if they are used) on the assembly of the cover, because the task is time-consuming. A purchase of the additional cover and  the mounting optional caps is a good solution.
